Ich habe so viele wunderbare Zitate zu meinem Abschied bekommen, die ich von nun an jeden Freitag hier mit euch teilen möchte. Den Anfang macht der französische Dichter Anatole France, dessen Worte Steffi mir in ein kleines Notizbüchlein geschrieben hat:
Alle Veränderungen, sogar die meistersehnten, haben ihre Melancholie. Denn was wir hinter uns lassen, ist ein Teil unserer selbst. Wir müssen einem Leben zuerst Lebewohl sagen, bevor wir in ein anderes eintreten können.
Ich habe mich oft gefragt, was ich empfinden werde, wenn ich an meinem letzten Tag aus dem Parkplatz herausfahre und die Schranke hinter mir zufällt. Als ich kurz darauf an der Ampel auf Grün wartete, fühlte ich gespannt in mich hinein. Ich erwartete eine Vielzahl von teils widersprüchlichen Gefühlen, doch nichts der gleichen entdeckte ich. Das einzige was ich spürte war Freiheit.
